    Issue with Vorshlag Camber Plates

I think I'm retarded. This is the new longer Vorshlag ultra
    complicated shaft nut thingie.

Does this top nut need to be flush with the bearing? Because I already almost knackered the shaft threads on the otherside try to get the fucker on.

On this F80M plate, it looks pretty flush to me, but before you break anything , you might want to give them a call.

Fudge...I guess I need to call them. They are a PIA to deal with...I'll definitely be the moron here. But they make great camber plates.

These are the FCM dampers I've been waiting on. So I got non-M PSS which I guess has a shorter stem that the M3 PSS? Not sure that makes sense because I bought non-M vorshlag plates. Either way, sent an email to Vorshlag and will call them today.

Why would I do that? Lol

Yeah, very wrongly assumed it would fit.

The inverted monotubes typically have less threads on the shaft/stem. So most likely yea you need different spacer and insert combo for the pillowball. I had to make some spacers for my MCS because the stem was so long.

I have had good luck repairing threads on shocks with just a die for any Bilsteins I have boogered threads on. I'm sure Vorshlag will hook you up, excited to see what you think of the new setup!

Data point: I installed some Vorshlag plates on my Cayman R (MCS coilovers). Awesome quality, but man I wish they included instructions with them. No torque specs, nothing.

Also, out of curiosity, how long did you have to wait to get your FCM dampers?

It wasn't too bad, I've done worse. Just ran a new nut down the threads and they cleaned up.

I called Vorshlag and they will take care of getting me the stuff I need. I talked to Jason who was very helpful... I think he's the #2 there?

100%! Awesome parts! Vorshlag is BY FAR the best option for camber plates no matter street or track. But damn...are the plates at min or max caster? I know Terry says the bolt plates last forever but don't over torque but what's the torque spec?

Took 10 months. I had to text him every week or every two weeks to get updates. Definitely not convenient or quick. We'll see how it performs but I definitely questioned my decision to go FCM over MCS many times over the past 10 months.

Yeah, Terry is the main guy, Jason is second in command.

I had a similar issue where they didn't send the adapters in the spring perch for the MCS shafts. Guessing the help isn't as good as it used to be.

Good news! Vorshlag is getting the bushing I need overnighted to me. Then I just use the nylock nut that came with the struts. Sounds like problem solved.

My case was odd. The Bilsteins I had were for a non-M. According to Vorshlag, non-Ms usually have a shorter stem and 14mm threads. M3s usually have a longer stem with 12mm threads. I guess mine had a longer M3 stem with M14 threads.
