    Reinforcement plates.

Do you recommend front strut and rear shock reinforcement plates for KW coilovers V2 without camber plates ? Street car lowered 1 inch .

I would say the front top mounts spread the load well enough but for the rears they’re not a bad idea

Would recommend front strut tower reinforcement even with OEM top hats.

Rears aren't so much of an issue. Most aftermarket RSM have some kind of reinfrcement built in.

Easy answer: yes. They're extremely cheap insurance, and these cars aren't exactly known for the strength of the chassis

For the rear, also look into the upper control arm plate for where the bottom of the spring sits. Aftermarket springs/adjusters are usually narrower and stiffer which can upset the aluminum.

No to the front, that is an e36 issue really. E46s with OE or broad enough, aftermarket top hats, have been fine. Plus, our strut bar helps as well. Reinforcement plates (like RACP ones as well) reduce susp travel at a given ride height (or same travel, but higher ride height).

What is thickness of OEM front reinforcement plates?

FWIW, I have the front reinforcement plates and I still cracked my front strut tower.

Those are unrelated things. The plates are to prevent the tower from cracking, not the brace.

I wouldn’t run the front plates with the stock top hats.

Vorshlag camber plates + reinforcement plates. The tower just cracked around the reinforcement plate. Didn't notice until the strut bar came off for unrelated maintenance.

It's actually steel grey, I guess it looks green under the yellow shop lights, hahaha.

Oh Snap! What the solution? Cut & Weld in thicker plate? Man I thought I was done with reinforcements....
