Combine two OEM Section 1's?

Quick Question:

Instead of adding an AR20/25 to the OEM section 1, will a second OEM section 1 resonated pipe line up? I'm about to pick up a used set of OEM section 1 pipes with the intent of combining the resonated pipe to my oem section 1, and figured I'd ask before committing to buy.

Yeah it works, I've got this on my car right now. There's a bracket welded between the two pipes that you have to cut off before you can combine them. It's a bit tight, but they do fit.

A buddy of mine recently picked up a spare section 1 to add the 2nd resonator to his section 1. Removed a lot of rasp from his setup and was very cost effective.

Running that setup on my car. Only issue I had was a harmonic rattle at idle from the 2 individual pipes vibrating against each other. Had a welder buddy tig a little bracket between the sections to stabilize them and no issues since. Rattle was possibly a little more pronounced on mine because I'm also running headers.

That same issue was mentioned in the video Mike RT4 posted. This could be a great opportunity for me to learn to weld (or if all else fails, take it to a shop to weld the bracket)

I'm also running a pair of resonated section 1 pipes, along with a supersprint resonated section 2 and dinan section 3. I had a similar rattle issue slightly above idle which I resolved by welding a bracket between the two pipes. Sounds great, minimal rasp, sporty, not too loud.
