I wonder if the pads for those calipers come on any other cars? Would be nice to use FCP for pads

I think Evos and something else use it. Pretty common pad shape.

I missed the news on these. What's the low-down on what makes this the better choice over 996?

                Current:

                1997 BMW M3 - Boston Green/Modena
                2003 BMW M3 · Coupe · 6MT - Alpine White/M-Texture Alcantara

E31 calipers are a better choice to keep stock brake bias as well!

+1. What's the pad shape number or part numbers?

Edit: just kidding, found my answers. FMSI D1001, according to https://thebuildjournal.com/tech-gui...r-is-the-best/

I ran e31 calipers on another car and good pad compounds at the time were quite scarce.

Subscribed for review of this kit. I assume the loctite in the kit is for securing the adapter to the factory knuckle? Id really hate to break red loctite every time I had to remove the caliper.

That is a great looking BBK setup. I paid about that much for my Aston Martin DB9 setup. Looks like the brake bias on the Megane is slightly better though.

If anyone needs the same immediately and doesn't want to wait for BJ... Freakparts in the UK has been making it for a couple years now.

                            Regarded kit on m3cutters.

Ends up being a bit cheaper even with shipping and hes fast turnaround

I have a couple freinds running the kit.
                            He offers several pad options

And you can have it optioned with e90x 360mm rotor brackets.

Brand new calipers, bolt on , no machining of anything, stock brake bias, uses ZCP rotors. Several pad options.

UK guys have been running this kit for a while.

Starting to see it pop up over here stateside.
