Your Favorite Tow Hook License plate holder

What are good, light, but well made tow hook plate holders for E46 M3?

I've always been under the impression that any impact to the tow hook or a tow hook license plate holder could damage the frame of the car. Also, why would you want to ruin your beautiful car with a front plate?

i used the Millworks mount because it lets you offset the plate towards the center of the car a good amount.

not using it anymore since the car is no longer a daily and police in my area are more mindful of not finding reasons to pull over minorities

shoot me a PM if you want it cheap

I keep a cheap one in my trunk in case I ever park somewhere that I might get ticketed. If I do, I quickly put it on and take it off when I leave. No need for quality if its job is to sit in my trunk 99% of the time lol.

              Thanks guys! PM'd you usdmej!

Heinz - I agree! would only be used in cop heavy or parking in LA county situations.

I was briefly using Milworks with the quick release due to the good reviews but it rattled like a POS. Tried to contact them but guy was nowhere to be found...had to dispute the payment to resolve things.
I then bought the Cravespeed which worked fine. No need for front plate where I live so I don't use it anymore.

I pop mine onto front windshield on pass side with some electrical tape and foam so it doesn't rattle.

Inside the glass or outside? It's a danger to keep it loose on the dash plus I don't think cops like that spot.

Zip tie-ing it to our lower grill in the bumper would be super easy/fast, but don't want to block oil cooler!

Inside, I curved the plate a bit so it contours to the shape of the glass and slide it in between the glass and the dashboard in the corner, so it is secure there.

Yeah def dont want to block airflow.

I keep my front plate in the glovebox and pop it on the passenger dash when parking somewhere public or in the suburbs.

I spent a while searching for a well-made tow hook plate holder (Rennline has a good one) before I realized that the Chicago police couldn't give a shit.

I liked my US Millworks enough that I bought three more of them for the other cars. Quality piece.
