Note: you can do an okay corner balance without ride adjustable coilers using BMW's various spring pads from different e46s (the pad that goes between the spring and the control arm). This is what I've done on my M3 wagon (which is on Dinan springs with Koni yellows). Spring pad options are as follows:
    5mm # 33 53 1 136 385
    7.5mm # 33 53 1 136 386
    9mm # 33 53 1 127 224
    10mm # 33 53 1 136 387
From Obioban's sticky. This pad goes underneath the spring I believe.

Just look at pics of it. Google it. I just bought some lowers, it's the spade. Top is a donut.

Bilstein B6/Eibach pro kit....slight drop from factory Sachs/OEM.
        It is a conservative drop.
Car looks to have a little reverse rake, ie, like it has a little weight in the trunk.
Ride quality is subjective but close to Sachs/OEM.
Handling is improved except the front pitch quality is begining to be an irritant for me...colder weather has an impact on the damper behavior.

Thanks, you mention a reverse rake and thats exactly what i noticed as well in all the pictures ive seen of the B12kit. Which means i actually would need a thicker rear spring pad. Quite the opposite of what the others are saying.
Maybe its the B6 causing the reverse rake whereas a standard damper would not

I would argue that the B12 kit doesn't "cause" any rake. It lowers the car by about .5" and maintains the factory rake where the front wheel gap is about half an inch more than the rear. It’s a well known fact that the E46 M3 needs a lot of suspension travel upfront (hence the factory reverse rake) and while I agree that no wheel gap looks better, I think looks are less of a priority here especially since the b12 kit was tested on the ring and is designed to work well together. I honestly struggle to understand how one can choose Koni shocks for eibach springs considering all of this...

That is entirely plausible since the front wheel arches are larger in circumfrence.
I did not care whether they dropped the chassis or not. I needed them because I found the B6/OEM handling to be incompetent.
The increased ride height (B6/OEM) looked comical.

I have the b12 kit and my wheel gap in the front is about 1” and rear .5”

I feel that this is a perfect compromise between performance and compliance after a few other spring and shock sets I’ve tried tho I do agree that the front is a little stiff when it’s cold out. I don’t drive mine in the winter so not too bothered by it...

I have the bilstein HD’s and the front slam/bottom out on the smallest of bumps and has gotten worse over time...

Prob H&Rs. Fronts are too soft and too low so they crash.

If the bilsteins are like the H&Rs, the bump stops are too long and leave no bump travel. You very likely are riding on the stops. B6 ARE NOT designed for lower than standard

This it’s how it sits on the eibach/bilstein.
