Wanna take pics and sort of walk us through the install? I plan on investing in this in the near future.
This is my Unbuild Journal and why we need an oil thread

This. I would like to self-install at some point early next year when the car is out of winter storage. A few picture DIY would be appreciated.

I’ll take some pics as I go but I’m not sure when I’ll install it. The weather has turned pretty cold now.

Shoplifetv did a great install video with this version of the bar. Let me see if I can find it...

Still in the middle of everything, but it hasn't really been any harder than doing plates. It has been going pretty slow, but that's just because I've been really careful to mask off and remove everything so I don't damage anything in my interior. Super basic overview of the steps:

-Drop subframe, remove rear seats and trunk carpeting
-Drill up through all four subframe mounts to have reference holes inside of the car
-Use reference holes and gusset cups/bar to measure and mark where to cut
-Cut access panel for bar and drill holes for gusset cups (a powerful magnet is very helpful here to avoid having metal shavings go everywhere)
-Drill rivet holes if you have the epoxy version (be careful with the fuel lines behind the passenger's side chassis rail)
                    -Epoxy/weld the reinforcements
-Reattach the rear access panel you cut out if you've got the stealth version
                    -Paint to prevent rust
-Swap out bushings/other suspension components if needed
-Change driveshaft gasket and regrease cv joint
                    -Put subframe and interior back

Vince sells them on Facebook. https://m.facebook.com/pages/categor...RnDnews/posts/

I think I also remember seeing one in the classifieds.

What's the structural difference between epoxy and welding?

From Vince, the epoxy allows a greater surface area and prevents the metal from becoming brittle from the heat. I don’t think either of them have actually had problems though. He mentioned if I’m already welding other things he’d personally weld the bar in as well. I got the epoxy kit because I can weld it in with minor changes if I decide to.

“Yes. You would simply enlarge and add some holes to make toom for plug welds rather than rivets.
Please find more information on the hole patterns (which is essentially the difference between the epoxy/rivet-in and the weld-in kits) in this post, and it’s sibling post: “https://www.facebook.com/72205743465...3/?extid=0&d=n

                              Those candies are usually 4oz.
