I had the opposite experience with GC. I own their street coil overs and their ARCAs with bearing. They have always responded to my emails before and post-purchase. I asked them about the bearing they use in their ARCA and said it would be either Lemforder or Delphi. Unlike Obi I didn't tear it apart to find out if they were telling the truth at this point in time but I hope Obi taught the owner that lesson already. Don't know :shrug

I go out of my way not to be annoying when trying to contact vendors, so I don't get it. Maybe I need to be more obnoxious 🤔

I'm with ya, I'm the same way. I try to be super nice and I could have just been lucky. The guy I deal with is Forest. Don't know his role in the organization.

Yeah, I've been able to get someone on the phone in the middle of the day with the car on the lift to ask a stupid question, and I wasn't even the original customer for the coilovers. But I think it *can* be hit or miss.

The inner bearing failed on our GC rear camber arms. I have an email out to GC about it but does anyone have a recommendation on a good quality bearing to replace it with?

That stinks. Fail on track or just street driving? What were the signs? How many miles? Asking since I have them as well.

I bought the car with the arms on it so don’t know much of the history. The car was and still is a dedicated track car.

I started to notice the clunk at VIR when pulling back into the paddock. Clunk would happen only when the rear end is warm. Cold start and it was quiet again.

It got progressively worse over the weekend and at one point I got some straight line instability and pitted in and brought the car home.

I hope you never have to call Bilstein. Those guys are giant douchebags. Definitely never buying a darn thing from them ever again.

Had email out to GC saturday night for replacement bearing and its already been shipped.

+1 for Bilstein being a pita to deal with for parts. Never again.

I was considering the Steel Eibachs (Eibach 5.67110K) as the Aluminum version is twice the price. Am I wrong in thinking that these are a little easier to adjust then some others?
EDIT: I see the SPC's are pretty much identical and are a few bucks cheaper... But the eibachs will have the FCP warranty...
EDIT 2: Now I'm seeing the Turner setup is only 275 right now. Seems like a great deal!
EDIT 3: I got the TURNERS.

To add some info for any others going through a similar thought process, you can fit rod end boots to spherical rod ends to seal them form the elements creating something similar to OE ball joints (self lubricated teflon and sealed). Grit is a big killer of spherical bearings so it's a great option for street driven cars.

It's an option for the camber arms from CMP that are both stronger & lighter than stock arms with a stainless jack screw so adjustment is made at the upright end of the arm.
