That ECS deal on 63.5 race cats (002 part number) was a VERY good one (expires now).

Their deal on 60mm header+cats at 61% off is also very good (still up). Not for max power though.

All jobs done as diy - clutch, rod bearings, rear subframe rebush, vanos, headers, cooling, suspension, etc.

PM for help in NorCal. Have a lot of specialty tools - vanos, pilot bearing puller, bushing press kit, valve adjustment, fcab, wheel bearing, engine support bar, etc.

I'm still confused about this one. It looks like the cats are for a Z4M 🤔

Long story short from ECS, is that, the bundled kit will come with correct cats for E46 M3, the individual cats product page is showing separate cats for z4.

Wow that is tempting as an alternative to euro headers and then needing to source cats.

Just fyi, they think it's a pricing error since all the other products went back to "normal" discounts but this one didn't and is way below cost, so they might not honor it. I asked them to tell me how much money they will be losing since Friday, they said they haven't sold any of these.

Most likely they will honor it, because not too many people buy the 60mil setup and they need shelf space, but who knows.

Good god, that headers + sec 1 deal at $1900 is insane. Would buy for my blue car if I hadn’t already spent so much this Black Friday.

Hey Thoglan you did M tex after you took delivery of the seats, is that right?

Just jumped on the Nogaros bandwagon last night!

Yep, bought a pair from the recaro ebay seller (used to go by Tainik goes by something else now) and had them trimmed locally, had the white recaro logo removed at the same time. I'm actually considering selling the inserts and having a new set made using the OEM fabric since I have a couple meters in storage and I've come to the conclusion the ASC fabric is meh. As a fabric on it's own its high quality and looks good but it is not a good match for the OEM fabric imo.

If you're planning on going the same route, take your time picking a good upholsterer. Seen a few attempts at retrims now where they look pretty bad. Fabric bunched up, pattern not centered or lining up etc.

Sweet. Not sure if I'm going to do anything yet, but may decide to change things up on the interior this winter. I didn't address the interior when I did all the work on the car last winter...

                      Thanks for the tips!

Wait, can anyone confirm that this link is indeed a header + catted section 1 bundle? If so I think I will pick it up for my street m3.

It is a bundle (I actually called ECS reps to confirm), but remember this is 60mm, not THE 63.5mm version.
