Hey guys I was wondering if anyone has any good links and experience with a toll roll bag for us with CSL Trunk conversions. As you all know the tool tray is no useable with the trunk in most cases so I’d like to get canvas tool roll to still keep my tools in the car. Thanks

Seeing how much this message board loves OEM why not get an original BMW tool roll... https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...t/71110005317/
I don't really have an answer for you in terms of how to mount it... BUT this is something I will be looking into soon... not the BMW tool roll but I want to find a neat mounting solution to hold a custom tool roll, 2x warning triangles and 500g of oil descant stuff, wheel chock and jack as I need these for Tarmac rally events... im also considering trying to find a way to store a full size spare without it looking too absurd although I'm not sure I will have much luck there....
My first though for you is in the "wheel well" area... If you have one of the newer models of air pump then the Tyre goo and the pump are separate so if you had a stubby tool roll you could store it where the goo normally goes as that stuff is useless and ruins wheels anyway...

Not exactly what you're asking for, but I cut slots into the styrofoam thing that's in the wheel well to fit tools.
Couldn't find a pic, but I'll go take one later if anyone's interested.2002 Topasblau M3 - Coupe - 6MT - Karbonius CSL Airbox - MSS54HP Conversion - Kassel MAP - SSV1 - HJS - PCS Tune - Beisan - MK60 Swap - ZCP Rack - Nogaros - AutoSolutions - 996 Brembos - Slon - CMP - VinceBar - Koni - Eibach - BlueBus - Journal

All i need is a good link to a good roll bag that i can store my current OE M3 tools in and im good.

Do you need the safety triangle in your country? If you don't you could use the safety triangle mounting location to hold a Tool Roll. Alternatively how big is your tool roll? could you modify the tray slot in the 6stacker cubby to hold your tool roll... If not that then back to my original recommendation to replace the tyre goo canister with your tool roll... they are the 3 best options without doing any major modifications... Another option might be getting of of those OEM shopping bag holders and modifying that to mount a Tool Roll so then it kinda hangs under the rear parcel tray... actually that gave me an even better idea... install it underneath that wood lid that covers where your air pump is... theres like an inch clearance below that, make a mount on the underside of that to clip or strap your tool roll in to and then when you lift that up you can access it.

I stuff everything beneath the floor. If you get rid of the tire pump BS you actually have some decent room for stuff.2004 BMW ///M3 Carbon Black/Cinnamon 6MT

Sounds like you want to keep the OE tools, so what I have in my car might not be what you're looking for, but here it is anyway.
Ignore the exposed vincebar, still working on getting everything put back together and painted.
I made slots/holes for the following in the styrofoam thing:
-Socket set
-3/8" extension
-3/8" to 1/2" adapter
-3/8" to 1/4" adapter
-Philips screwdriver
-3/8" ratchet
-Spark plug socket
-Wheel bolt socket
-Two small flathead screwdrivers
-Couple bungee cords
-Front plate on tow hook mount
Then I cut out two rectangles in the foam piece and glued both a hex socket set and a torx socket set to them so they don't rattle around. Also stuck a flashlight and extendable magnet (to get spark plugs in/out) onto the chassis rails.
With all this I can fix a ton of things on the side of the road.2002 Topasblau M3 - Coupe - 6MT - Karbonius CSL Airbox - MSS54HP Conversion - Kassel MAP - SSV1 - HJS - PCS Tune - Beisan - MK60 Swap - ZCP Rack - Nogaros - AutoSolutions - 996 Brembos - Slon - CMP - VinceBar - Koni - Eibach - BlueBus - Journal

Just drill a hole in the trunk and run the oe carpet liner with tool tray. Done. Dont see why people make a big fuss about this when you're getting the trunk painted anyways...2003 E46 M3 TiAg/Cinnamon 6MT
