What did you do for your M3 today?

Replaced my mirrors and shifter knob. Doing the boot tomorrow.

Looks exactly like what's in our e46.

I get nervous servicing some of these things that aren't ment to sometimes, all these orings/gaskets I am replacing are fine, just wanted a project, and I got one.

I did install this oring kit on a customer car a long while ago and it turned out well.
Both the duration of the pump running and frequency decreased as well as quicker shifts, his orings were much more deteriorated than mine however.

I also plan to "fix" the wiring up top, either with new wiring (I have a new pigtail) or shrink wrapping the existing wires.
The wires up top on the transmission have a tendency to loose their insulation where they enter the platic, short out, and cause issues.

I managed to get CHF11s all over the wiring, I hope it didn't wick itself up into the plastic portion.

Not much on the M3 as of late but have the SMG3 out the M6 for a LW flywheel, R.M.S, new orings all around on the SMG, new SMG pump motor etc.
