I had an unresonated twin pipe with my SCZA. Sold it VERY quickly as the car sounded like a Honda with a fart can. Seriously, it was bad to the point of being embarrassing...
I decided to test out a friend’s SS Race to see if the exhaust change would help. It did improve the note, but only marginally.

I think the resonator makes a world of difference foe rasp based on the videos I’ve been able to watch online. Let’s hope I think the same when it comes
Think I'm just going to stick with an OE Sec. 2 until I get cams, don't know if there would be any gains made with my current setup and the sound may be negatively affected.

This is my current plan too, I’m skeptical of the power gains of the oversized sect 2 when not running cams or supercharger. Also a non-resonated section 2 will likely drone a lot

Same reason why I opted out. Unless of course ECS decides to do a 50% off cyber Monday sale for one day only like they did back in 2017 then I’ll buy it and keep it in storage until I get cams.
Do you guys honestly think the twin tube on a non cammed engine could potentially make you loose horsepower? i have full ssv1 catted setup with the sport section 3. it still has slight rasp and was thinking the twin tube would tone it down a bit.

I could imagine that oversized piping loosing low/midrange for a few HP way up top on a non-cammed car, but I am not an authority on such things. I think with just an airbox/Stepped headers that the stock sec. 2 is probably the right way to go in my mind, but again I do not know and would be quite interested in other opinions as well.
I talked myself out of it as I need to stop buying power adding items as I'm likely to eat up all my funds and then something will go wrong I can't afford to fix.
It is so fun to come home from work to find a big package of aftermarket stuff on the porch just begging to be installed, it's basically a high for me to browse/buy/install this stuff.
^ I’m thinking the same, although don’t have the numbers to know for sure and would be curious to hear from others. Now if you’re otherwise done with all other mods then might as well try it. I’m not which is why im focusing in other areas

supersprint's resonated options aren't going to control rasp any better than a stock section 2
it seems like their resonated Y pipe is more suited for you car. unless you're FI, i wouldn't sleep over passing on their twin pipe option

SS sec 2 resonated absolutely killed my rasp.maybe my euro cats helped but no rasp.stock sec 2 doesn't stop the rasp at all.

i don't know what your setup is, but in my experience, headers/cats are the biggest controllers of rasp (stock < OE euro < aftermarket in terms of volume and rasp)
for section 2s, i've cycled between stock, SS non-resonated, and SS resonated. between the resonated options, there was little to no change in rasp. you're mostly modifying volume when it comes to the section 2
