Here is a beautiful battery hold down bracket for the ATX30 but it’s 180$

Easily find what you are looking for with our main categories in alphabetical order.

You could also consider the Antigravity H5 Group 47 battery, 3 different AH capacitys. Doesn’t require a hold down bracket bolts down like stock and has the added advantage of a remote key fob to switch battery back on without having to go directly to the battery

About to go for an ATX30 as well. Does this battery program the same as original spec/size?

Thought the battery needed to be programmed after it's replaced. If I'm correct, are there any problems doing that with the ATX30 battery?

Edit: Maybe it's just newer BMWs that require battery programming.

Only newer bmw models require programming to reset the voltage level needed to charge a new AGM.

electrically The ATX 30 is a drop in replacement, but I would not call it same spec to OEM. You will need a new bracket to install. See my photos earlier in the thread.

I just went with a OE replacement from Walmart. AGM H7, for $169.77 (link).

Those with an Antigravity battery -- where did you get the terminals to connect the positive and negative leads? Apparently Antigravity is out of stock.

I don’t think the terminal posts are threaded. You might need nuts to go under the battery post for that m6 bolt.

FYI, I used this for securing the CTEK charger leads to the other 2 battery posts:

Awesome. Our battery came with the car so I wasnt sure. Those threaded blocks in the video are much better than what I linked. If i had to do it again I would just take a T nut used for aluminum extrusion and grind it down on the bench to fit.

So I found that after tightening down the battery cables, it's not snug against these posts. I can pull them up and off. Not sure where my problem lay, the XS posts or the cable connectors.

Did you try to swap them because they are not the same size one is slightly bigger the. The other therefore if one is one the wrong side it will slide off, I had the same experience.
