What do you guys have for skinny spare tire?

I remember on the old site someone posted the skinny spare tire we could use for M3. Anyone have the information?

    Thanks.

Tire size.com listed the 125/80 R17 diameter = 24.9" which is perfect for my ZCP stock wheels which I measured to be close to 25" . Now I just have to find which car came with your spare tire.

        Thank so much.

Will that spare work on front/rear of our e46s? There’s one locally for sale.

The space saver spare from the M235i fits and is the correct rolling diameter. That's what I carry, when I go on a road trip.

Here is some info that helped me when I bought mine. I bought the wheel new at the cheapest online site I could find for it ($60 at ECS at the time), and then had my local Discount Tire buy & mount a Kumho 135/80 tire for $100 all-in. Clears the stock M3 brakes no problem, front or rear. Good for emergency. I have free towing/emergency coverage, but any drives more out of town this goes in the trunk.

                Wheel:
                BMW - Steel 2 Piece
                17 x 3.5 H2 ET30
                Bolt Pattern 5 x 120
                BMW Part # 36 11 6 750 007

                Tire:
                Continental Temporary Tire
                Non-Directional
                BMW Part # 36 11 0 306 541
                Size: T135/80/R17 102M

The 135/80/R17 diameter, about 25.4 inches, is closer to M3 tire diameter, about 26.0 inches.
The 125/80/R17 tire is about 25.0 inches in diameter.

Sure it will with a spacer.

The M235i spare includes the brakes on all my cars-- M5 on stoptechs 355/4s (albeit it with a hub adapter which acts as a spacers, as well), M3 on brembos 355/4s, M3 on brembo 345/4, 996 brembos front and rear, M3 stock brakes front and rear, and M5 rear stock brakes.

No spacers required for any of the e46 fitments.

New rules in some places do not allow you to sit in with the tow truck driver anymore. Along with a tow, you'll also need an Uber ride.

I mean, you'd be pretty dumb to get in an enclosed vehicle with someone this year...

                          Just ride inside your M3.
