    thanks for the help man.
funny you mention the crossbrace. it's the first time where i see a crossbrace holding UP the exhaust so i thought that was weird. but yes, that's not a bad idea. i'll give it a shot.
my setup is as follows: Euro Headers, Euro Section 1, SS Res Sec 2, Status Gruppe SCZA Section 3.
i loosened it up this morning and re-tightened it in hopes i did something wrong but it didn't change.

I used to have that s2 (for about 5mins). Since it's single pipe, it is very beefy, so fitment is not the best, but it fits. That said, if you have "some" room there now with suspension at full droop, it should improve a bit once the car is on the ground at ride height, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. And if your rubber hangers are not shot, it should not move around much to bang against anything. Try the trick T suggested with cross brace, it should help a bit.

All jobs done as diy - clutch, rod bearings, rear subframe rebush, vanos, headers, cooling, suspension, etc.

PM for help in NorCal. Have a lot of specialty tools - vanos, pilot bearing puller, bushing press kit, valve adjustment, fcab, wheel bearing, engine support bar, etc.

I currently have this sec 2 also and don't have any fitment issues.once you install it correctly, you should be good.

Did your SCZA muffler sit level out of the box?
I had to shim the passenger side down over a 1/4" with washers between the muffler mount and the car. Although its handmade and aftermarket so big deal I guess.
My SCZA muffler also came with a bent hanger and tips that would not go on as they had the same diameter as the muffler itself. Had to get the tips swaged out at a muffler shop. This was after waiting and broken promises made by SGT. And full disclosure SGT did pay for the trip to the shop.

out of curiousity, why did you get rid of it? i had the rear on ramps, so not sure if it spaced out more once i was on level ground. i kinda doubt it. as for the hangers, the Muffler hangers are brand new, but the crossbrace hangers still look OEM. i'll look at replacing them.

i'm not saying i have fitment issues. it fits perfectly fine. what i noticed was that i found it fairly close to the axle so i had concern that it could possibly hit.
i actually just took it out for a spin and surprisingly it didn't bang around. i'll see what how it handles over the next few weeks.

my buddy installed it and i didn't really pay attention to the fitmet of the exhaust. that being said, i would have hoped he would have fixed it if there were any bent issues. the only thing he mentioned was that one of the exhaust tips would not tighten up. i had to fidget with it for a bit until it got tight.
anyway, i will look at the exhaust. at this point, i'm thinking a)replacing crossbrace hangers and b)like i mentioned above, i took it out for a spin and surprisingly enough i didn't hear any clunking. i'll have to really go over some bumps to see if there's any movement.

That being said, i feel like i'm happy with the way it sounds. it was way too raspy for me. i have before and after videos below.

Yea, Euro headers/Sec. 1 do have an import kind of sound. I'm digging it for now though, although I may just be happy with the fact my exhaust makes a noise now

I went back to stock s2 for several reasons:

                1) It definitely felt like it constricted exhaust flow and robbed power. The whole concept summarized in the table at the end of this: https://www.exhaustvideos.com/faq/ho...pipe-diameter/ that having 2 slightly smaller pipes is "better" than having 1 slightly larger one (similar concept applies to head building with 2 smaller valves vs 1 big one).

                2) It completely eliminated rasp

                3) It completely changed the tone of the exhaust, making it sound a lot deeper and boomier.

I like the opposite of the 3 effects .

This was with SSv1 headers, SS race cats, [section 2], SS sport muffler. Since then after driving with stock s2 for a while, I found a good deal on 63.5mm dual resonated s2 from Schmiedmann (which also cut down rasp significantly ) but overall I like how the entire system sounds now.

What is your experience and how do you like it?

well i just installed it so i can't really say much about how i feel about it. i just didn't like how the rasp sounded with the stock S2 (videos above). it was just too much. i also haven't driven it hard yet as again, i just finished installing it this morning. if i get bored tomorrow maybe i'll take it out on a spirited run. i hear you on the 2 small pipes vs 1 larger pipe. the way i see it is, i'll always wonder if i would like it or not and with the 20% off, it was worth giving it a try.

i'll provide feedback on how it feels once i get a feel for it. i did speak to a well known tuner who's opinion is that the Section2, if balanced properly with the right sized intake and the right tune will not rob power. Then again, we have YEARS of so many users that have tried so many options. i've owned this car for about 7 months now so i'm still learning.

I have a cammed/airbox car that I am rebuilding the engine on. I have the SSv1 headers, catted section one, then stock section two and stock rear muffler. It is very tame in my opinion. I think I am going to pull the trigger on the 63.5mm S2 for sure...I can't decide if I want the SS rear section or the Scorza. At $1200 I might go with the SS. I really wonder how much of a difference the rear muffler makes on a 350+whp car. Also, did Hassan come over to this forum? I will need a tune when this whole thing is up and running. It is a real shame M3 forum ended the way it did.

The 2.5" sect 2 will make it even tamer fyi.

The loudest m3 is the smaller piped headers, sect 1 , 2 & then race muffler. A full 2.5", even with race muffler, will not be that loud ala Hassan. Yes, he's here.

Maybe I'll order the S2 and then see what I think... Good to hear on Hassan. I will hit him up when I'm done in a couple of weeks.
