I just msg Streamline and they are replacing all the airboxes from that batch. I should be getting my replacement mid Feb. Let see how that goes.

I've seen the vertical stabilizers on Evolve fail as well.

Is this failure going to be a common thing for all CSL rep boxes? Are there any cases of Karb boxes suffering similar issues?

TMS box already had fitment issues and ports becoming loose. How long will it be til the vertical support and trumpets to fall apart?

Ehhh... planned on doing CSL box this year oof.

If it gives anybody peace of mind, I haven’t had any structural issues with my Karbonius what so ever over the past 1.5 years.

I will say that I had a minor issue with the adapter for the air shut off valve line to the brake booster/vacuum system. The clip wasn’t fully seating, which they recognized as a know issue with some of their adapters. They took the airbox back, paid for shipping both ways, repaired the product quickly, and gave me free upgrades and parts. I had my airbox back with in the month. The airbox was completely restored, refinished, and clear coated. It looks brand new again. Communication and customer service was fantastic all along the way, which was the most important part to me.

Without question, get Karbonius. Not only for a high quality product but for support should an issues arise. It’s work the extra few bucks.

Did your air shut off valve also not seat nicely? The previous owner had the karbonius box installed but this line barely stays tight with the box. It definitely doesn't have a tight seal to the plug. Did you just drop them a note in [email protected]?

Pic is for reference and an old pic of mine where you can see the line not fully seated.

Looks like you had the exact same issue I did with that line. Mine wouldn’t “snap” in. Just email them and let them knows. They will make it right.

Mine did this as well, some light sanding on the shut off valve connector fixes it. I forgot exactly were I had to sand but I THINK it was on the little tabs that actually hold it in place, it didn't take much. Just look at it for a second and you'll figure out where to sand.

On a side note my Karb box doesn’t have great fitment around the air filter towards the back bottom edge, the air filter has a decent gap for about an inch where it doesn't touch the box. I sent pics to Karbonious and they acknowledged that this was an issue and if I sent them my box they would put in some new carbon fiber/epoxy to fill this area.

If you are going to modify the connector yourself, I don’t recommend sanding the plastic tabs. Karbonius recommends taking an angle grinder to the top of the metal connector on airbox side. You don’t have to take much material off. The top of the connector is too tall which prevents the plastic connector from engaging with the plastic tabs.
