Fix the sunroof or carbon fiber replacement?

I just get annoyed when there are things not working on my car, that is the main reason why I want to fix the sunroof or do a sunroof delete.

Close the sunshade and remove the sunroof switch and voilà..you just did a “sunroof locked in” mod. Now drive car without the OCD tapping you on shoulder since it’s a “mod”.
If it was causing a problem/issue that’s another story. But since you don’t ever use it don’t worry about it.

You can find functional used parts for pretty cheap. That’s what I’d do.

I don't mean to jump in, and I definitely don't want to interfere with the OP of this thread picking up one of the cassettes that were offered, so if any are available after he grabs one, I am in SC (Mount Pleasant) and would like to find a good low mileage one used within 2-300 miles of 29464. Please PM if you have one avail. I track my car, but I also love the Sunroof, and would like to replace my failed cassette.

No worries, Shipping to Dallas from SC is probably as much as the cassette. I am happy if you can get yours fix.
