I can confirm. Other rules would be like the use of the vehicle. Only meets/shows/cruising, no work/errands/commuteOriginally posted by Interlagos View Post
I currently have Hagerty but plan to switch to Grundy due to the massive price difference. I’ve talked with my agent extensively about it and he told me Grundy doesn’t have a mileage limit, they just require you to garage the “specialty” vehicle(s) and have a newer daily driver — all of which is pretty standard with these types of policies.
Even with the inflation and massive insurance hikes lately, my Grundy policy on the e46 m3 has been about $350 for the year for like 5 years now. That's for $35k value iirc.DD: /// 2011.5 Jerez/bamboo E90 M3 · DCT · Slicktop · Instagram

What 996 do you own that the value is $120K?Originally posted by rbizet View PostFWIW transferred my 996 to Hagerty with an agreed value of $120k and cost is about $1.2k in San Diego and a mileage limit of 2k a year. I have a 16 year old driver in the household now, so had to protect that car from a massive policy increase.

This gen GT3 may be my absolute favorite. I had a go in one and it was a blast. Love the color!
Hagerty is expensive. Didn't realize how expensive it was until I just got a quote from Grundy. Grundy it is.06 IB M3 ZCP

I would implore you to chat with an underwriter at Grundy. I've had to stop selling their policies due to their lack of coverage.Originally posted by Maxima SE View PostGrundy is way cheaper than Hagerty. I have been with Grundy for several years and my premium is half of what hagerty quoted me.
The price is 1/5 of Hagerty for a reason.

Safeco is who you should be looking up, then. They're more tolerant than Hagerty for points and claims (insurance score) and have great coverageOriginally posted by 9kracing View PostHagerty just dropped me for getting 3 tickets in 3 years.
I had gotten 2 really close together, like a month apart back in summer of 22, and then I got another one beginning of this year.
2 of them are literally for doing 75 in a 65, but apparently it doesn't matter.
So, I have to park the M3 for like 6 months and then reapply.
