Feeler: Girodisc 2-piece floating rotors for E46 M3

The reason I asked about the Porsche caliper rears is because of the pad (D738 I think) that gives ~5mm of clearance next to the e-brake drum which is where the issue lies. That being said, that would carve a niche out of a niche so a bit of a last resort. I'll update you guys when I have more.
As far as the fronts go, that's not an issue at all. But that's why other people already make 2-piece rotors for that axle.'03.5 M3 SMG Coupe - Jet Black / Black

Interested in a set of rears. I’m fine with using the narrower pads with Porch calipers..planned on using those anyways.
Is it possible to make the discs in a bi-directional slot pattern? 🤔Last edited by SQ13; 03-10-2021, 09:17 PM.

Thanks, went ahead and updated my list of people in #2. If you have rear Porsche calipers and I didn't note it, let me know. That might be a clean, easy way to do the rears.Originally posted by SQ13 View PostInterested in a set of rears. For bi-directional slot pattern, can you clarify what you mean? If you're looking to run them on either side, that won't work anyway as the curved vanes are directional.'03.5 M3 SMG Coupe - Jet Black / Black

Slot pattern like this. But I’m perfectly fine with the standard slots, too.Originally posted by r4dr View PostFor bi-directional slot pattern, can you clarify what you mean? If you're looking to run them on either side, that won't work anyway as the curved vanes are directional.

Great, added you to the list. I'm hoping we can run standard pads (either with stock or Porsche calipers), but that D738 shape gives us a potential fallback.Originally posted by zivagolee View Post

For the rear caliper, I am running the larger D737 pad shape.
Nice! Are you running stock rear calipers or Porsche calipers?Originally posted by QuickM3 View PostJoined the site after speaking with your sales department and hearing about this post. We run Giro front and rear set-up on our ACR Viper. They simply CANNOT be beat. Our favorite mod to our car hands down. I want some CSL discs for my E46!
That's unfortunate about the PFC rotors, their parts are quality but sometimes scarce. What rear calipers are you running?Originally posted by slavik1988 View PostI am in for some rears.
Just purchased a pair of PFC V3 fronts and wanted the full set but couldn't source them anymore.
Ok, I understand now. Yeah, we'll probably stick with a standard slotting pattern to keep it simple and costs down.Originally posted by SQ13 View Post
