Took another step towards this project today. Received the OEM wheels to begin with. We’ll be exploring the possibility of doing 18s.

No paint was damaged in making these pictures 🤪

I agree, I would be interested in stock 18s with a 18x9.5/18x10.5 brush finish that could clear bbk!

It would be great if we had staggered csl replicas that cleared 996 bbk without a spacer up front.

I'm in for some csl rep 18s at that group buy price.

          imo ideal spec would be

          18x9.5 et 32 front
          18x9.5 et 22 rear

            My ideal spec:
            18x9 et 37ish
            18x10 et 25ish
            Hypersilver
            clear 355mm Brembo GTs

Kinda surprised to see much interest in square 9.5" with different offsets.

              Additional wishes:
*72.6mm center hub bore so they are hubcentric and can use BMW caps
*10k ton spread forged monoblock wheel
              *Make paint code available
*meet or exceed JWL & VIA wheel certifications
              *BBK friendly w/o spacers
              *knurled beads
              *easy warranty replacement

Point blank, if they have the concavity of OE CSL "REAR" wheels made in 18's, it's a wrap.

I'm running OE Rear CSLs square and they clear my Brembo GTR kit (355mm rotors) without any spacers.

                So 18x10 ET27.

I'd get those over a set of TE37s.

I run a square set up of the 67 18's for track. 3.2 front 2.2 rear, doesn't look very sunked in on rear. Could use like a small spacer.

That’s really valuable info dude, thanks. How’s tire fitment and alignment specs at the front?

Widths and offsets will be customizable within the forging profile that we pick.

                    Hubcentric: yes.
                    Forging: currently evaluating 8,000 ton
                    Knurled bead: will evaluate
                    JWL / VIA: yes
BBK friendly is the goal; 996 retrofit will be standard used

I have run from a 265-285/30-35/19 with only Michelin PS2s and Michelin PSS tires. I've been on the square rear OE CSL wheel game since like 2015.

I run -3.5 up front and -2.5 in the rear.

If you're not slammed, you won't likely rub. I rub a very small amount at full lock but I'm pretty low as well, ride height is 13.25" F and 13" R.

I really like this setup because it uses no spacers. My 17" Forgelines need spacers to clear my brakes and it sucks lol

That's great to know. Those alignment specs and rubbing notes are on the 265 or 285 front?

It would be around this for introduction pricing!

Both, I rub less with the 265s of course but the 285s rubbed worse mainly because of how low I was.

Proper ride height on some 18's should be killer.

                                18x9.5 et35 front on 265/35/18 - 2.8 negative camber

                                18x9.5 et22 rear on 265/35/18 - 1.9 negative camber

Perfect setup without race spec camber and absolutely zero rubbing.

Interested in either CSL or better yet a set of style 67 wheels.
