I recently swapped from CPIs to SSv1s. The CPIs definitely had much better fitment compared to the SSv1s but my butt dyno does feel way more bottom and mid range with them.

Ss had some qc issues in 2020, they made a few posts on IG in regards to new equipment or something of the like they were now using to do things better.
People had flanges that were way off and welds that didn't look very good considering the cost of the product. I got mine in May of 2020 and only fitment issue was a few of the stud holes had to be reemed out a bit for the headers to slide on. I was using the extended etorx studs though and they made lining up even harder as you must start further out from head.

I think that bad run has come and gone and ECS took back what was bad.

Given that SS is in Italy, I could see how they might have been off their A game in 2020.

The welds on mine (bought in 2018) are also kinda ass. The flanges were also a bit all over the place in alignment, didn't have a problem installing but they made contact with a heatshield (mine are installed in my M coupe). Heard a couple people's welds cracked eventually but hopefully I won't have this issue.

This is moving - slowly - but it is moving.

I was fear mongering though I'm working through this.

FYI looks like these are back in stock on ECS's website. Tempted to pull the trigger but really want that group buy discount!

Looks like there's already good interest here, but just to add to the crowd, I could probably be talked into picking up a few things too.

It's moving - I chatted with ECS today. We're looking at next week final answer on pricing and how we'll work catless products into it.
