Could I get just the tooling kit for the epoxy/rivet bar? I bought the bar from a forum user last year, but it did not include the tooling kit.

          Thanks.

          Old, not obsolete.

The GB is mainly for the Vincebar with the tool kit being an optional addition, but PM me.

Very interested in this. Can anyone tell me the pros/cons of the epoxy kit versus the weld in kit. I sent vincent an e-mail, however no response for almost a week now.

                  Epoxy/Rivet is more DIY friendly

It's also technically stronger no? Because of the epoxy covering the whole mating surface vs just the perimeter and plug welds.

Not that I think it'll make a significant difference in this application either way (especially on street cars), but epoxy should leave everything more structurally sound (assuming it's applied correctly and the appropriate thickness is reached and all that).

I'm in for one epoxy kit. I was just about to buy one straight from Vince, but he pointed me this way.

Don't need the tool kit, I've installed a few already.

I'm in Oregon, whereabouts are you collecting $$?

Epoxy is the way to go, imho. I've been abusing my M3 with an epoxy bar for years now, and my floor was in pretty bad shape. Absolutely nothing has gotten worse since I fixed up the floor and installed the bar, and the car feels tighter too.

Vince likes the epoxy version since welding can weaken the sheet metal from heat cycling.

Vince will be processing the orders. There is about a week left, so if anyone would like to link this thread (zhpmafia, Euro forums, etc.), the GB should be able to reach the higher discount tiers
