Hey thank you caivs! Really appreciate it. Color changing this was a leap of faith but so glad I did it!

I don't have an Insta account. I gave it up after I closed my small business a few years back. I'll see what I can do to get some new pics up here. I need to use my wife's big-boy DSLR to get some real pics of the car. Looking at a few pics on here they look very much like the camera phone pictures they are, ha!

My goodness, Casa de Mesa, I just read through this whole thread tonight. I was questioning repainting a Topaz blue car, but now that I've finished, just wow. It's gorgeous! Especially with the side-by-side LSB, your car just POPS. All the time and effort into cleaning the motor paid off too, beautiful work.

Hey liam821 gracias! I still have your pics on my phone from the dash removal on your Phoenix car, studying the removal before I dove in. I so appreciate this community, I would not have been able to do this without the knowledge on this forum. Amazing people, amazing cars, endless pool of talent.

No updates on the car, just enjoying it and the Cayman. Took the Cayman to a few track events (it's pretty epic) and the M3 has been a fantastic rally/fun car. It rips! With all the weight taken out of the car, plus the performance mods (CSL intake, etc.) it's such a competent and fast car. Really loving it.

Vin_tra's recent vids has me wanting to find a cheap 360 and do this all over again. Not sure I have the cheddar for that kind of build though. I suspect Ferrari parts are a smidge more than BMW parts...

All that said... I never fully finished the interior with Alcantara headlinder, A/B/C pillars, etc. The interior is on the list of things to do, just have prioritized other projects above the M3 currently.

Got all the way through this build. Very nice work my friend! I fully appreciate all the attention to detail and the cleaning work had me itching to take mine apart.

Arclitgold - I hear you on that. This project was so much fun and getting to really dive in and clean the car speaks to my German roots. 🙂
