Going to get all 4. Car has barely been driven in a decade, and is on tires from before that.

Nice pickup! And yes 08+ S85 cars are considerably better built than than 06-07 variants. I haven't really heard a ton of vanos issues on the lci models compared to the pre lci.

I think they have amazing presence in person. I don't like their design compared to e39/e46 esp in pictures, but that's like saying you like master of puppets more than the black album.

The exterior has grown on me a bit over the years. The interior remains quite bad.

Picked up the most important part today:

Welcome to the club! My 07 has 85k miles on the clock when I bought it and I refused to drive it until I replaced the rod bearings. It’s fun to drive but doesn’t have the raw power feel that the E46 M3 has. I actually prefer it though for daily driving. I’m sure you’ve seen them already, but if not make sure you check out sretens YouTube series on the E60.

Does your ‘08 have the CCC or CIC radio? I’m in the process now of upgrading to CIC with the combox.

Since you are making it rain at the dealer, add some stainless steel pedals to finish it of.

                              Sigh.

Driveshaft is NLA. LUK flywheel is out of stock with no estimate of when it'll be back.

I chose the wrong pandemic to 6mt swap an e60 M5.

(custom driveshaft and OE BMW flywheel it is)

So it's about 5k to manual swap it depending on the cost of the trans used?

Considering E60 M5's are still like $5.99 for SMG ones, that's a damn bargain.

                                HMMMMMMMMMM.
