I just paid under $800 to ship a $100k Land Cruiser on a 20hr drive, that got to me in under 36hrs from the time of booking.

You should have seen my car. Last one on the trailer, lower deck. Driven AZ ->MN in the winter. Use your imagination.

$1900 enclosed is a solid deal. I didn't pay a whole lot less than that and it was a competitive quote.

Congrats on the car, looking forward to many more pics!

Fair critique, but with the cost of body panels and potentially not even being able to find certain parts, if something really terrible had occurred, I was taking no chances. If anyone ruins this car, its going to be me 🤣

Enclosed sounds worth it to keep salt and hail off the car during the bad weather months.

Sunny, summery time of year though? Fully agreed.

And to let everyone know, the car is exactly what Kevin said it would be. Its clean, tight, no dents or problem areas, interior is beautiful, etc.

I'm driving it today, but I have to keep it check since rod bearings and clutch, so I'm in grandma mode for now. Essentially a nice drivers example.

Shouldn't stop you from throwing it around in the corners!

How does the chassis feel compared to the vert? I've never driven a vert and have always been curious.

For real lol, but today is city driving, Saturday will be lets get on it day for the back roads and I've got no shortage to choose from. With that said, my convertible is reasonably well sorted. It feels very analog, maybe more so than the coupe and that's probably because its not nearly as rigid combined with the spring rates on the coilovers. A certain sloppiness that at times can be fun.

What immediately jumps out at me for the coupe is that missing 325 pounds (or more), that is a massive amount of weight, no way around it. The car feels spry, ready to corner and provide more confidence while doing so.

Edit: I'll say one other thing. I know the SMG transmission (my vert) gets a lot of hate, some of it deserved, but I did and still do like it. I'm talking manual shift mode only.

Ah yes, I had mine shipped on a single trailer carrier, was open to elements, but nothing sitting over it leaking all over it.
                💯 understand, I wouldn't do that either 😂

I shipped my Estoril blue from TX to CA after I blew the clutch at COTA. Open trailer. The car arrived the filthiest it had ever been. And that thing was somewhat of a track rat lol. Under 2k for cross-country enclosed shipping is a great deal in 2026.

IIRC I weighted the Mystic, 3335 lb.

The difference between my stiffened wagon and a stock coupe is *smaller* than the difference between a coupe and a convertible M3
