Okay - 107 is triggered exclusively by the pre-drive check that runs on start-up when KL15 (accessory) is switched on. This document here is accurate enough to what the code actually does for you to be able to refer to it as a reference: https://github.com/karter16/CSL_0401...3.03%20PDR.pdf

Doesn't help narrow it down a great deal, but I think means that regardless of what you're seeing in terms of pre/post ignition, the DME has actually detected the fault as soon as accessory is turned on. I'll have to look further but presumably the consequences of the code being triggered are only fully realised in the DME once ignition is achieved (My unverified guess is that the software fuction that cares about the PDR status enough to intervene in throttle control is in one of the angle tasks which are only activated when the engine is turning. This could maybe explain why you see the DK (throttle) being controlled normally until you try to turn over the engine).

Think this lightly reinforces the likelihood of it being a trace issue as nextelbuddy suggested.

And the ref won't tell me exactly what they want.
I'm in this exact situation with my S54 swapped 330i, engine is from a 2002 E46 M3 SMG (late 2001 build date) - they kicked back my appointment due to my CAL ID or CVN, they're claiming these aren't OEM calibrations.

      - Cal ID 1: 7842975
      - Cal ID 2: 7842972
      - CVN 1: 59D512B9
      - CVN 2: 1A2C6758

Can anyone confirm what I should be seeing? My understanding is that the CAL ID doesn't need to match the donor vehicle VIN which was SMG, just the same smog setup (2001-2003.5 M3).
