MSS54HP CSL conversion but Fuel Pump Relay Error code

I wonder if this is a remnant of the US file that the car started with and for some reason I was not able to clear it without the right hardware in my swap car.

This is interesting! Someone more knowledgable than me on this can chime in but I wonder whether the BMW tools configuration includes a reference list of DTCs that apply to the software version. E.g. if "clear error memory" is not a case of simply 0xFF out the Stored DTC table but is actually going record by record or something that could account for it not clearing a DTC it doesn't recognize in its config.

I recently figured out a bunch of the DTC NVM storage code - I'll see if I can figure anything out from the DME side.
