7 laps at Mid-Ohio chasing friends and then being chased by a GT4 I had passed earlier in the session when he was warming up his Hoosiers. I was trying hard to stay ahead! Flashed the black E36 hoping for a point at the end of the back straight and I should have done the same with the yellow Vette....... If I had I would have made the checkered without letting the GT4 by. NSFWL at the end because I was disappointed that a half lap after I let him by the session was over LOL

I haven't driven much this year...one event so far. Trying to lose all of this covid weight and get back into shape AND I've been playing a lot more ice hockey. Figure this is my last push before I get too old...then I'll have more time to spend at the track.

It is quite apparent that the last time I drove was 6 months ago...

My new rims came with A7s on them which I removed to go with the RE-71RS. I'm sure they are amazing but afraid to take a hit off of the go fast slick tire crack pipe

Tony built your car right? Are you planning on entering ST4 races soon?

would love to hear your impressions on the RE-71RS's. My RT660's lasted 3 track days and some street driving!

How much of a time difference is a hoosier worth?

It was my first weekend on Hoosiers and didn’t quite feel comfortable w the tire but compared to a 200 tw tire PB with the conti ecf, it was worth nearly 3 seconds.

The tt3 nasa record is now set to a high 1:58 at ECR. I’m hoping for a sub 2:00 time as a personal goal for 2023.
