    For Sale: [SOLD] Supersprint Exhaust System

    [All Pieces are now Sold]

    Some of y'all may have seen my recent posts, i'm sadly moving on from the E46 platform. Am now in need of offloading several meaningful parts I had sourced for an OEM+ build, this post is dedicated to the SS exhaust system I picked up as part of the recent SS GB.

    I would like to honor the discounted pricing I got as part of that GB to keep good faith, I have no intentions of profiting off of this. I would prefer to sell all these pieces together, however I would consider splitting them up although i'd probably diminish the discount for each in that case. The Euroconnex GB offered this combination to me @ ~$3.7K, which was around ~$1.6K or -30% off retail at that time. It looks as though the current market rates for these parts are a bit lower by now (have included links below), at ~$4.7K full retail for all three. I'd be willing to sell the package of all 3 together at the cost basis I paid for them (now ~23% off retail), however if no one bites i would consider selling them individually at ~10% off retail. Will caveat that i'm basing current retail prices off of Schmiedmann, have not been combing domestic retailers and am unsure if i'm overstating their current value. I'm in Seattle, WA so shipping so this offer may be marginally more expensive to those on the east coast.

    Full System - $3,700 excluding shipping

    SSV1 (Standalone) - $1,700 excluding shipping (~$1,460 as part of the full system)
    https://www.schmiedmann.com/en/bmw-E...product=044001

    Sec 1 Catted (Standalone) - $2,000 excluding shipping (~$1,700 as part of the full system)
    https://www.schmiedmann.com/en/bmw-E...product=044002

    Sec 2 - 60mm resonated (Standalone) - $570 excluding shipping (~$490 as part of the full system)
    https://www.schmiedmann.com/en/bmw-E...product=787503

    I also do have a SS Sport muffler on the car (~200 miles of use) which I plan to swap back with the OEM muffler and sell, however I do not know when i'll get around to it. Will list it here eventually as FYI. Lastly, while all of the parts above are brand new and still in the SS plastic wrap, I did not keep the original packaging from Turner for space constraint reasons. Will take me a few days to get them ready to ship.

      Good question, will update original post. I'm in Seattle, WA thus this offer may naturally favor west coast buyers.

            Small correction, your single pipe section 2 is 76mm, not 60mm.

              Thanks for the clarification. Said differently, it is not the oversized version (akin to the SSV1 and Sec 1), it is the same spec as the stock sec 2 is my understanding.

                76mm refers to the 3" single pipe.
                60mm refers to the diameter of the flange/connection versus 63.5mm aka 2.5", for example.

                There is no SS 2.5" xpipe, so this part for sale is both 60 & 76mm.

                    Just curious, given identical full systems from headers to muffler as original poster has mentioned, are there any measurable performance benefits when comparing the twin pipe to the single pipe resonated x-pipe(section 2)?

                    Configuration 1(Original poster's set up if installed) --> [044001(V1 stepped headers) + 044002(catted section 1) + 787503(single pipe resonated section 2) + 043926(Sport muffler)]

                    Configuration 2 --> [044001(V1 stepped headers) + 044002(catted section 1) + 044003(twin pipe resonated section 2) + 043926(Sport muffler)]

                    Performance wise, is Configuration 1 less than, greater than or equal to Configuration 2?

                      I remember a thread coming up recently on this, i'll see if I can find it. I remember the conclusion being if that there were some differences in sound/rasp between the two variants, but not measurably different from a performance perspective.

                        Disclaimer/disclosure: I received this part for free, I believe because I helped it come into existence. That said, I have been a happy SuperSprint customer for years, on multiple cars. On my M3 coupe, I paid for my SuperSprint headers (V1 stepped), Section 1 (catted), previous section 2 (resonated), and muffler (street with

                        Configuration 2 should yield more power, BUT only if your engine is pretty modified (i.e. airbox, cams).

                          I think the 2.5" sect 2 will create more midrange than the x pipe, even if you don't have cams and or airbox.

                          Soundwise, the x pipe creates a pleasant, raspless sound.

                          The dual pipe creates a boring, lifeless, turbo sound that is also raspless.
