Cleaning injectors does not address internal electrical wear and tear. I personally like to replace them rather than cleaning them.

These are the ones I'm running.

There are no plug and play alternatives to my knowledge. The flow rates are different for all of these meaning a tuner will have to be involved.

Edit: To be precise the above fuel injectors are roughly 36 lb/hour and our cars are roughly 24 lb/hour.

Oh. Guess I’ll have to do some research on what’s involved in tuning injectors.

Edit: Just talked to HTE. It’s simply a flash on my end.

As with any mods, will probably need to mess with stuff a bit, but for the most part, they should be plug and play.
Yep, those are the ones I purchased from that vendor as well. They are genuine as far as I can tell. Working on the install as we speak. Comes with adapters but you will need to stack washers to get the heights correct.

I'll be doing the same with HTE, my stock injectors were rebuilt maybe 20k miles ago, but I had no idea they were basically maxed out. For $40 per injector, might as well swap them over

HTE told me ideally a dyno tune, but he can get it setup well enough with an AFR guage.

That’s good to know. We’re planning on an AlphaN dyno tune, so he’s going to send me a canned AlphaN tune with those injectors accounted for to allow me to safely drive to the dyno shop.

Yes you need to use washers for OEM fuel rail.

These injectors are awesome, they work as well as OEM but 2x the flow.

For now, the plan is to install everything in Katy and dyno tune at Eurocharged ATX.

Injectors are backordered till April, so I’m thinking I’ll just run a canned ECUWorx AlphaN tune until I can install the injectors, then do the HTE dyno tune.

Edit: Just ordered injectors thru Rockauto. We’ll see who ships first lol.

Edit 2: Rockauto order shipped today (3/15), and ECS est ship date got pushed back to 4/7.

Worst comes to worst, you can buy a used set off Facebook or eBay or whatever and get them rebuilt. Lots of places will rebuild a set such as injectorplanet for $13 an injector.

So these bosch 62690 injectors from summitracing are replacement for stock injectors? Same flow same everything??

They are, but good luck finding them as nobody has them in stock. Who knows if summit can actually get them, I actually doubt they can since everyone else including fcp and ecs lists them as NLA and not for sale.

Yeah, I think OP mentioned in another thread they had an estimated ship date of May. If you need a set now today, I'd recommend finding a used set online and having them cleaned/flow tested and call it good.

Just an update to all. Ship date has now been pushed to April 21. Looking less and less like I'm gonna see these things.
