Got down into the 2:34s at COTA on Cup 2 240s this past Sunday on Michelin Cup 2 Connect 240s. Hopefully next time I'll have some better brakes and a re-tune to shed some more time. I still love this thing even though it has a affinity for shedding gas doors on track

Good idea on coding it to apply earlier though, I'll look into that!
I think you can buy a new spring btw, in case yours is tired and just not holding the door closed tightly.
Edit: Yeah spring is 51171888374 and the rubber latchy bit is 51178228939 (in case yours is sticking and not letting the door close fully).Last edited by heinzboehmer; 05-27-2022, 03:16 PM.2002 Topasblau M3 - Coupe - 6MT - Karbonius CSL Airbox - MSS54HP Conversion - Kassel MAP - SSV1 - HJS - PCS Tune - Beisan - MK60 Swap - ZCP Rack - Nogaros - AutoSolutions - 996 Brembos - Slon - CMP - VinceBar - Koni - Eibach - BlueBus - Journal

You can just take a pair of pliers, and tweak the gas door spring a little to "renew" its tension.DD: /// 2011.5 Jerez/bamboo E90 M3 · DCT · Slicktop · Instagram

The car *should* be on the ground today. Yellow fogs are temporary, have the BMW original ones on order. I didn't realize how crappy these yellow fogs were until they showed up - their quality is horrible.
