Cobra sells them exactly like that (modeled after the CSL) at this moment.Originally posted by SUPREM3/// View Post
Too new to PM, can you post or send me the details on your setup? Exactly what I'm aiming for in mine. Material looks phenomenal.
with or without harness holes.

Yeah— IIRC they even have a sticker on the bottom that says either “Profi” or “SPG” (I forget which).2005 ///M3 SMG Coupe Silbergrau Metallic/CSL bucket seats/CSL airbox/CSL console/6 point RACP brace/Apex ARC-8s

I remember seeing the link on here, I kind of assumed the shipping to Colorado would be absurd but guess I'll compare costs with the re-cover/material.
If the Munich version is out of the question, does anyone know if it's possible to order the Nogaros w/o the Cobra logo? Worth an ask but rather have blanks.

Shouldn't be a problem to get them without the logo they're pretty good with requests like that. Only thing would be you'd need to wait for them to be made rather than buying stock off the shelf.Originally posted by SUPREM3/// View Post

No, not for the Nogaros. What really differentiates them from other aftermarket fixed back seats is that they function properly with the factory 3 point belts.Originally posted by Sylverlee View PostFor safety reasons do you need harnesses rather than use the stock seat belts for these fixed back seats
Well, that and their willingness to trim them per customer wants at the factory.

In all cases (unless you're made of money and shipped by plane), the seats come by shipping container from England to HMS (when enough have been ordered to fill a shipping container), and then get shipped from HMS to either another company or directly to the customer.Originally posted by SUPREM3/// View Post

After sitting in OE CSL seats vs. my Recaro SPG's or even Pole Positions, there is literally zero reason to go with the OE CSL seat style unless you really care about looks.
At that point, we start making fun of people like that.2004 BMW ///M3 Carbon Black/Cinnamon 6MT

Thanks fellas, yeah, I saw Cobra doing this - must have been getting a lot of calls about them. Honestly this is probably the way to go. Less hassle and probably cheaper than what I went through.Originally posted by karter16 View Post
Lawrence does great work though if you're trying to go a different route - see for yourself:

Friendly PSA regarding buckets- PLEASE make sure you sit in any and all seats you’re considering! I am 6’ 1”, 180lbs, athletic/skinny build with 33in waist, and barely fit in most seats. Cobras mostly fit well, but every Recaro bucket was completely out of the question. Ended up with a Sparco QRT-L leather seat.

Funny how different it is for everyone. I'm the exact same dimensions as you and I feel like I fit in the CSL seats no problem. So many factors play into what fits and what doesn't for each person!Originally posted by rGTIedge View PostFriendly PSA regarding buckets- PLEASE make sure you sit in any and all seats you're considering! Terrible seat for street use, but I bet you’d fit in the Recaro SPG XL. I’m bigger than you in every dimension, and fit fine.Originally posted by rGTIedge View PostFriendly PSA regarding buckets- PLEASE make sure you sit in any and all seats you’re considering! Most of the recaros didn’t fit my shoulders, even in driving position. I don’t think I sat in an XL, but I assume I would have fit, considering they’re for people much bigger than me.Originally posted by Obioban View Post

Ya, Sparco QRT-L is def not for a daily. It’s a total PITA to get in/out of.
