Affordable BBK Option - Brintech Customs

I've watched a few Brintech Customs YT videos (they did the weight comparison between S54/S65/S85) and discovered they have a BBK kit for the E46 M3.

Six piston / 365mm fronts and four piston / 350mm rear. No idea what the bias is. They machine their own caliper brackets and rotor hats. Rotors are DBA brand and pads are Bendix-something.

I note that the front calipers do not have the bridge that the Brembo E46 M3 kit has. That has to affect rigidity but may be less a consideration for street use.

Cost shipped to USA is approx $6,300 Australian pesos, which at this time of writing, is about $4,500 - $4,600 real dollars. That's pretty attractive.

Brintech have developed a Brembo Brake kit to suit the E46 M3. These brakes provide a front and rear solution using a 365mm front rotor and 6 piston caliper, along with a 4 piston caliper on the rear with a 350mm upgraded rotor. This kit is made to order and custom painted with your choice of any c

I am in the process of selecting a kit for my project, and this definitely seems like a good option. The idea of custom paint, etc makes it a good proposition. Curious about the brake bias myself. With the right piston size, this could be the holy grail.

It's the 18Z caliper off a Porsche/Audi. I believe p0lar and a few others on the old forum adapted this kit for the E46. How about 650 for 4 calipers and pads lol -

I think the only issue is they only fit 19" wheels.

Do you think Brintech machines them for fitment on the E46 M3, or this is a bolt on? Maybe special brackets?

I realize this is an old thread, but are there any newer kits out I should know about?

I came across this, which seems like one of the few budget kits not using the 18Z calipers. Seems like a good setup for the price.

They basically pull from a Chinese source. Signature werks does nothing fabrication wise on their end. So their source machines down(bad) some ZL1 calipers and adds some brackets, then uses some huge 380mm Chinese(possibly not bad but probably) rotors to complete the kit. They do look nice though.

I'm in the process of collecting parts for an Alfa Romeo retrofit which doesn't require any machining of the calipers. Will review once done but basically you source Quadrifoglio calipers, freakyparts brackets, and e92 m3 360mm rotors.

This. They can't even get the logo to look right... brcmbo? I guess that's one way to avoid copyright infringement.

I have a spare set that I could probably sell if you’re interested. I think the only things that need to be done before install are shaving the fronts and front RR brackets.
