    Smell from HJS cats?

Curious if those with HJS cats in section 1 get any cabin exhaust smell? Specifically 200 cell but any experience is appreciated ๐Ÿ™

I just want to make sure the bathroom door is keeping the stink out vs. letting a little waft in.

Mild smell. More so when walking around the car or when it's cold still (recently turned off cat protection) and the windows are rolled down. Do not smell it in the cabin otherwise.

I don't notice any smell in the cabin, I definitely can smell the exhaust during cold starts if outside the vehicle as mentioned above.

Euro cats had almost no smell in comparison but its really not too bad at all.

Iโ€™m lesser informed, but dont new cats need about 1,000 miles or so to activate?

Same here, although a little odor outside the car even when warm.

Can confirm, I was surprised to find that the HJS cats had noticeably more exhaust smell than I was expecting, even compared to Magnaflow 2 cell HFCs i had before, or Euro cats, although still much better than actually catless.

However, I should mention there *may* now be a tiny exhaust leak due to the silly slip-fit design the SSV1s use, and I did purchase the HJS used. Also worth mentioning, I picked up almost exactly 0 HP going from โ€œcheapโ€ magnaflow cats to the HJS, even on a > 350whp S54 with 288 cams, but thatโ€™s another story for another post!
