So you thought they were overinflated based on wear pattern you saw and already wore the centers some. Then you dropped the pressure. How long have you been driving with lower pressure? It will take a few k or more (also depends how long you've been driving overinflated and how much wear in center that had caused) to start evening out the wear.
    Youtube DIYs and more

All jobs done as diy - clutch, rod bearings, rear subframe rebush, vanos, headers, cooling, suspension, etc.

PM for help in NorCal. Have a lot of specialty tools - vanos, pilot bearing puller, bushing press kit, valve adjustment, fcab, wheel bearing, engine support bar, etc.

      30.5 front left
      37.5 front right
      33.3 rear right
      35.5 rear left

anyone know what I should be at if I’m just daily driving, and since we’re quarantined, what it should be at if my car is in the garage?

      thanks!
I run mine at 35psi cold

Semi related to this topic, but for those of you running these tire sizes, is your TPMS light on? Ever since I deviated from OEM sizing I have not been able to get my TPMS light to shut off. I have attempted to reset it multiple times. Just checked my tire pressure and they are the same from side to side - 35 psi front, 40 psi rear.

You have to reset the TPMS. I Pretty much just followed this video I found on YouTube! Hope this helps 👌🏼

It's counter-intuitive, but my experience was that using INCREASED rear pressure (>36) solved a center tread wear problem. I found the tip on a 911 forum.

I've notice that my centers (Pilot sport 4S) had 2/32nd more wear than the outside. I've kept the rears at 38 psi. Was going to drop psi down to 32-33 but now .... i'm not understanding how increasing tire pressure solved center wear problem?? Someone school me.
My set-up is ZCP with stock tire size. 225/40 19 and 255/35/19
35psi up front 38 psi out back.

Forgot to mention the center wear is only on the rear tires. No issues up front

Too much PSI can cause center tread wear. If you have a IR thermometer, you can get a temp reading across the tread and that will give a rough idea of the temp difference between the center and outer edges of the tread.
