If you're going to paint the roof get metal. The weight isn't that negligible between metal/CF panel. Plus it will cost you about $800 if not more to paint it anyways which would equal out to just buying the CF panel.

Thanks for all the advice, gents. I’m going to snag a metal roof and the 2M slick headliner seeing as the OE is NLA. This wasn’t on my initial todo list and now it’s too late for the genuine headliner. Boo.

2M replication is very good, you don't be disappointed. Second there are a few interior restores if you can order OE type material from.
