Bumping this in hopes someone has a handy list of all the interior clips I am bound to break/destroy in my quest to install this kit. Part numbers / quantities would be greatly appreciated!

I just did this so it's pretty fresh in my mind. Quantities for door clips should be for both doors, I would order more though just for good measure, plus the door clips are not bad to have. I may be forgetting something but this should probably cover your needs. I had to replace a lot more since I was putting everything back in the car...

I'd order some of the following clips and rivets:
-(2) Clip under Rear Seat Bolster - 52207157536
-(2) Push Pin for Rear Seat Bolster Shoulder - 52207001301
-(4) Push Pin Rivet for Plastic Tray Behind Rear Seats - 51467002606
-(16) Plastic Rivet for under Door Sill Strip - 51478234047
-(16) Front Door Clip with Foam Washer WHITE - 51418224768
      -(6) Front Door Clip GRAY - 51418224781

-(2) Rear Door Clip White with Foam Washer WHITE - 51418224768
      -(8) Rear Door Clip WHITE - 51437001491
      -(6) Rear Door Clip GRAY - 51437001492

      -(4) C-Pillar Clips - 51411973500

Honestly not sure how I missed this after almost a year…No sub upgrade, and I know the vert sub sucks. I’m not interested in crazy bass, but clear sound would be nice. I also screwed up and have an N6, not an N7. Thinking about upgrading to the D9. But the distortion is most definitely from the door speakers. Cant get passed like 2/3-3/4 volume, bass turned down a few clicks. Sounds awful. Driving on the higway, may as well turn it off. The stock HK speakers could get louder with less distortion

Was going to get carphonics amp upgrade to see if that helps

Reviving this thread from the dead.

I have bought the Bavsound set for the HK system for the e46 coupe, as I wanted something that installs like OEM without any modification.
I'm no audiophile, I just like listening to music in the car and would like something a bit better than the 22 year old speakers that are currently installed.

I also wanted to update the shelf deck mounted subwoofer, but I can't find any 6" x 9" bass speaker that has a 2 ohms impedance and that is available where I am located, in France.

The only real option that I have found so far is the Powerbass OE-690D
OE-690D 6X9" DVC 2Ω / 8Ω OEM UPGRADE REPLACEMENT WOOFER  Completely redesigned and re-engineered for today’s modern vehicles, our new OE Series was designed to upgrade factory systems to deliver the musical performance you demand. The OE Series OE-690D was developed to replace old and worn out paper cone woofers in many late model vehicles providing you with tight accurate bass response in a much longer lasting form that offered from the factory.  Utilizing a dual voice coil design, the OE-690D can accommodate a 2Ω or 8Ω impedance need by the OEM amplifier. This variable impedance will make more efficient use of your amplifier's power and allow for fitment into more applications.  To handle this power we include upgraded features like the custom tooled stamped baskets, our new Injected PP/Carbon Fiber Cones to produce the best in distortion free sound reproduction, Butyl Rubber Surrounds for high efficiency, increased bass response and long life, and larger motor structures to handle increased power.*NOT DESIGNED FOR USE WITH AFTERMARKET HEADUNITS AND AMPLIFIERS*

But, shipping to France is crazy expensive.

That looks like a good candidate, that can handle more power than the OE speakers, and that has the correct impedance to use as much as possible the small HK amplifier

Is there any other option ? I'm not really convinced by the Rockford Fosgate 4 Ohms option referenced in this thread.

for the woofers just make sure they are not too thick or they wont fit in the original HK woofer basket if you have the factory rear sunshade option.

                I don't have that option.
I'll order them I think and have them delivered in the USA, and then have them shipped to me.
Lets see if I can make it happen

Bought a pair of PowerBass OE-690D.
They won't be here anytime soon though, but I'll report back on if they work correctly or not.
