Most definitely sounds more aggressive, but I'm not sure they were reviving quite so high before the intake install.
I'll bet 50% of the comments on this airbox would go away if that didnt have their name molded into the airbox. It IS nice that it's enclosed, would be interesting to see third party dyno results, stock/Injen/Eventuri.
Something I wouldn't ever run but I get that not everyone wants to shell out for a CSL style box.2004 Silbergrau Metallic 6MT

If you're balking at $2k for the greatest induction of any car you'll see on the road, then I've got some bad news for you...

Injen has very poor fitment. AFE would probably fit better. K&N is absolute trash but if sound is all you care, I can personally tell you the loss in the powerband isn't really worth it. The stock airbox is easy to remove whereas those, with their poor fitment, will have to be poorly fitted again everytime you remove them. I got sick of it. The stock airbox was way better. The power loss and inconvenience lead me to removing it after a month. I went into knowing I was going to lose horsepower. It was still night and day between stock and hot air intake. Cold starts are much louder with cat warm up active. Idle is slightly quieter.
Overall I would not recommend. Cheap is not the way to go. No personal experience however, I've heard that the Eventuri intake has a sick sound. Maybe save up some more and gain horsepower with a cool sound. That's my recommendation. This is my Unbuild Journal and why we need an oil thread

Most don’t mind the Eventuri or quality velocity stacks for example
I think there was less thought put into the eventuri intake. Looks like an auto zone cone filter with a carbon fiber cover. It lists for over a grand. And sucks in hot air aside from the Amazon prime air scoop that goes in the bumper.

It's not pulling the hot air from behind it, the air entering has come from the outside. It is not on the same level as an Injen. The flow is actually optimized. We hate on these intakes and call them hot air intakes but really, what makes them so bad is their inability to flow properly. They're really only pulling in hot air at low speeds or a stand still. The scoops will feed them mostly fresh air but there is no actual design to encourage air to pass through the filter. The Eventuri uses the eventuri effect to fix that issue. It's not cheap garbage but actual engineering put into practice. K&N, injen, and AFE just copy and paste the crappy elbow and a filter design. Some cars, it works. On ours, it does not.

Look man, we're just trying to help you out. This Injen is literally a cheap, outsourced copy of the stock unit. There is absolutely no point in defacing your engine bay for it. Spend your money on something else. The stock design is basically perfect, and I guarantee you that a lot more time, effort, and money went into it. You can beat the price by keeping the free one that came with the car.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone so ardently defend a chinese part with no development behind it in order to prove what we already know in advance. You think you may have stumbled upon the holy grail of small baller intakes?
People here are just trying to save you the money and effort but feel free to get conned and burn your money as you wish.
