Injen evolution intake?

This has just been painful to read. Dont ask people’s opinion and then criticsize when you get it. The platform has been around for over 20 years now. There’s a reason the answers are all the same, because everything has been tried and tested.

That being being said, how about I do you a favor. I have a nearly new eventuri intake for sale in the for sale section. I only removed because I went to a Turner CSL box, and it was worth it. Hopefully I dont have problems, but who knows.

You said $1000 for a part is too much, so I’d say you bought the wrong car but how about I save you some coin, and a waste of your time. I’ll sell you the eventuri for the same cost as that injen. You pay the shipping.

You also won’t get the “amazon prime” bumper scoop since you say its basically useless, so you wouldn’t need it anyways. But there is a member here, who had theirs stolen, and I’d like to pay it forward and help them out, so I only ask that you pay to ship the scoop to them.

The Eventuri scoop is most definitely not trash or whatever the insinuation was and seems quite functional, at least in my opinion. I'm all over anything that shoots fresh air up towards the intake.

Someone should make a non-carbon version and they might sell a good many of them as the Eventuri isnt cheap, I lucked out an got one for $120 new.

Only been 24 hours but OP has not responded nor contacted me. They have been active today though.

While I think the OP’s pride will get the best of him on this one, I will say this…

I only offered this because I have been down this path of cheap parts before, and am now paying for it. Trying to help someone avoid the same mistakes. And, because a member reached out for the scoop because theirs was stolen.

My main priority with this offer was, clearly not to recoup money, but to help someone from going down the wrong path and to get that member, the scoop completely for free, and since this guy said the scoop is amazon prime, why would he want it. Easy way to get that done.

I was a member back in M3forum days, and here since it started, but I was never really active. For some reason or another, this one ticked me off and made me post. Probably because it reminded me of all the mistakes I made on my first, and second e46 m3 when I was much younger.

Anyways, offer still stands.

Members who want to buy the whole kit, members who want just the intake and want to send the scoop to the member who had there’s stolen. And members just telling me I’m a class act.

I’m going to give the OP until Friday, one week, before I decide to move on to someone else. I think thats more than fair.

If you read my original post, not once did I ever mention looking to gain power. As I know intakes do very little if any at all. I was simply looking for someone who had experience with this particular intake. Not the name brand…..

Oh boy this thread reminds me of the old days on M3forum lol, why has no one made a CSL clone in plastic instead of carbon? We're in 2022 I'm sure there are ample plastics better than carbon and easier to produce without all the issues turner/haimus etc had with carbon.
