How many of you guys have bypassed the CDV? Is it worth doing? Everyone has been in my ear about removing it since I switched over to a manual m3.

SMG does not have CDV as the slave cylinder is electronically controlled. The hard pipe goes straight from the SMG pump to the slave, no valves in between I have seen.

Either way felt Zecks article is good info.6MT SLICKTOP - OE CSL Wheels - OE CSL Brakes - CSL Rack - CSL Trunk - CSL Diffuser - AA Tune - AA Pulleys- AS 40% SSK - 4.10 Motorsport Diff - Bilstein PSS9s - H&R Swaybars - CSL Lip - Gruppe M CF Intake - Supersprint - M Track Mode

Yeah if you blow through it you can tell that there's no restriction in one direction and a substantial restriction in the other. When installed, it's orientated such that there's no flow restriction when pushing the clutch in, but there is a restriction when letting the clutch out. This manifests as a slower release of the clutch itself (not the pedal).2002 Topasblau M3 - Coupe - 6MT - Karbonius CSL Airbox - MSS54HP Conversion - Kassel MAP - SSV1 - HJS - PCS Tune - Beisan - MK60 Swap - ZCP Rack - Nogaros - AutoSolutions - 996 Brembos - Slon - CMP - VinceBar - Koni - Eibach - BlueBus - Journal
