I wonder what happened to the right rear axle to have it rust like that. The paint that's on them from the factory is pretty thick. Maybe it was sand blasted to clean it up and never repainted?

I also wonder how the belly pan got ripped off

Something is definitely off. Buyer “doesn’t know” what the 2020 incident was, has a stock 3.62 differential rebuild through diffsonline and doesn’t bother to address the half shaft issues, or put a new cover on? Seems odd

Damn, I didn't read the description, they replaced the RB's and the vehicle has 33k on it, a 2004 as well.

My guess is they just wanted to have peace of mind? But for an 04' a bit overkill, also SF has been reinforced and VANOS re-sealed, didn't see anything further than that on the VANOS.

Really digging this color with factory 18" wheels, BMW nailed it.

I think 18” are too meh. BMW nailed it with the 65s and dropped the ball with 67s, but all the couch e46 specialists need to know “are stock wheels included?”

996 brakes on CSL rotors yes. Common swap.

Probably won't matter much since it is a facelift, desirable exterior color, and low mileage.
