Someone close to me has an R32. He says Nissan has started bringing parts for that car into the US through their regular parts channels. IDK if they also do that for R33 and R34, but I feel like it'd be weird if they didn't.Originally posted by PSUEng View Post
Crazy. How do we get parts for that thing? I guess if one can pay $444k, that's not a concern. Asking for a friend though...
Also, if I were a parts wholesaler or retailer and saw people dropping that kind of coin on these cars, I'd be adding some parts to my catalog like yesterday. I'd imagine, if there aren't already a lot of sources for parts for these cars, there will be soon.2008 E90 M3 6MT

All the same factors that make an NA M3 pull up to $200k (icon status, a symbol of the best of its time, way more of an analog thrill machine than most modern cars) – plus it's rarer on these shores, has more cult status from Gran Turismo and Fast & Furious, and has a much stronger record of dominance in racing (e.g. the R32 generation broke a couple of racing series). And however easy it is to argue that BMW peaked with any given M3, it's far easier to argue that Nissan peaked with the Skyline GT-R.Originally posted by MathewM3 View Post
I can't say I have much knowledge about Nissan but 444K seems a bit steep IMHO.
As we know, when it comes to sale values, all these factors tend to multiply rather than add to each other...Last edited by IamFODI; Yesterday, 11:07 AM.2008 E90 M3 6MT

This, and take into account that the special edition M3s are almost as expensive. E46 CSLs and E36 LTWs have sold over 300k I believe.Originally posted by IamFODI View PostAll the same factors that make an NA M3 pull up to $200k (icon status, a symbol of the best of its time, way more of an analog thrill machine than most modern cars) – plus it's rarer on these shores, has more cult status from Gran Turismo and Fast & Furious, and has a much stronger record of dominance in racing (e.g. the R32 generation broke a couple of racing series). You don't have to imagine, all the invoices are all there lolOriginally posted by stephen View Posthttps://bringatrailer.com/listing/1996-bmw-m3-85/
Can't imagine how much it'd cost to replicate this.
This car is really sick and well known. I'm genuinely curious how it will do though because it does have flaws, and the reserve must be super high. My guess is this will be the highest selling modified E36 by far, but not in GT / LTW territory.
