S54 Dyno Database

Got my car on the dyno with Hassan on Tuesday as well.

Mods:
Evolve CSL Airbox
280/272 Shrick Cams
SSV1 Headers
SS 63.5 Catless Sect 1
SS 63.5 Dual Res Sect 2
Dixis Muffler
Turner Pulleys

Car has 83K miles on it and has the big 3 done.

Base pull w/CSL tune: 292 WHP
Max Power: 310 WHP

Drives a LOT smoother now than it ever did with the CSL base tune.

Finally got on the dyno today with Hassan,

There’s not much in terms of performance shops and dynos around me, the shop I was at has a custom in floor dyno, whatever that means.

Mods:
Turner v2 CSL Airbox
SGT headers
SGT section 1 with 100 cell cats welded in
Stock section 2
Active Auto Gen 6 Section 3

Base pull with a base map from Hassan was:

292whp and 230wtq

Final pull was:

320whp and 252wtq

AFR 12.5-13 a little richer in the midrange

Was pouring rain here today, so the car just wanted to spin the wheels, but it pulls very nice. Big difference over the base tune too. Very happy with the driveability.

Now goin in for rod bearings and vanos bullet proofing in a couple days while I’m on vacation

Yes honestly the best tuner I have ever dealt with. I have met so many tuners that are condescending pricks about valid questions. Hassan doesn't mind answering 50 questions and having a dialog about the car which is huge for figuring out what will work most effectively.

There's a honda tuner I reached out to who is the Hassan equivalent but he's here in the states. Dude charges more and he's a dick.

Thanks! Hassan was great to work with from start to finish and I can see why everyone sings his praise. I'm extremely pleased with HTE Performance/Hassan. The guys at EuroMpire suspected heat soak was occurring so perhaps those figures are slightly down.

I should have posted baseline! Added above and here.

I recognize that it's not a true baseline, which would have been before the Karb intake went on.

Just had Hassan tune my car remotely on EuroMpire's Dynojet.

Mods:

• Agency Power headers
• Fabspeed Section 1 with HJC cats
• SuperSprint Section 2 resonated - oversized dual pipes
• SuperSprint Section 3 - Race (too loud but fun)
• TMS Street pulleys
• Karbonious matte intake (I'm told it's worth 10hp over gloss)
• BMC OEM CSL filter

Results: 322.53rwhp / 255.73rwtq

Drivability so far is perfect. My god that intake sounds effing glorious. No idea why I waited so long to do this mod.

I'm super happy with these numbers for just a couple of bolt-ons. It does have me kicking myself for not going SSV1 headers and section 1, but something to look forward to. I may go cams and those at some point down the road, but extremely happy for now. Considering I just dumped somewhere around 100lbs off the car, it feels pretty missile-like. I'm diggin it!
