PA66-GF30 is the material that the end tanks are made out of, not a part number or something like that. It matching between brands only means that they're made out of the same thing.

    PA66: polyamide 66
    GF30: 30% glass fiber

Theoretical stress curve for PA66-GF30 for the nerds who understand and can read it.

Bumping this thread, but happy to take it somewhere else if needed. How have folks' NRF radiators been doing? I was seeing elevated water temps on track, 105-110C, and decided it was time for a cooling refresh as I believed my radiator had 130K on it. Got one of these NRF deals, a new thermostat, and new fan clutch, water pump is OE dated 2017. Unfortunately I'm still seeing these elevated temps at ~90F ambient, which doesn't seem right based on the reading I've done.

Hoping NRF radiators aren't another example of an OE part going down hill.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, the NRF rad didn't line up with the bracketry on the top-right side as well as the original BMW rad did. Curious if others experienced the same.

Pklauser I've put about 2k miles on mine and after sitting in traffic with AC on for 15 min not moving my needle was just right of the center line. Temp was 98°, 100% humidity in TN that day, and I'm using only a spal puller fan. So far I've experienced no issues and a huge upgrade over the CSF it replaced.

Appreciate the data point. Anyone else tracking with the NRF yet?

                This is the NRF/MODINE replacement?

Yes the NRF. I put it in a previous post, but NRF have 4 manufacturing facilities, 1 in Germany and the other 3 in China. I'm uncertain where our radiator is manufactured.

I recently installed a genuine bmw, I guess that is NRF now? Hopefully I'll get some track time on it in late september.

Did a track day with the NRF coming from CSF. My conclusion is that it is noticeably better.

CSF was overheating very quickly on a 90 degree track day at ABCC, into the red. I think within 5 minutes. Recovery took several minutes too.
NRF on an 83 degree track day (BHF) took longer to get past the upper dot. I let off and within a minute, it'd have recovered close to center.

Very noticeable improvement, and despite the NRF being on a lower temp day, the track was lower speed than ABCC and more familiar for me, so much less coasting and more time on throttle. And I never felt the need to push the temps anywhere close to the red zone on the gauge.
Sadly, not to the level of nonstop 10/10ths lapping, but good enough IMO.

                        Great to know TeddybearCup!

I wasn't pulling the hard numbers in the session I had where my temp gauge was right up against the red, but ambient was at least 90F, car was registering 95F.

I'm no wiz-kid, but I've been improving my pace significantly and been tracking at least two weekends a month. Since picking up the pace, the heat has become more of an issue. I'm starting to wonder if I'm just hammer-down enough to the point where stock isn't cutting it.

Checked yesterday and showed that they were back in stock, and is now classified as OEM. I decided to order one and see what shows up and sure enough, an NRF box got delivered.
Weirdly, I ordered it 3 pm yesterday (16th) and already showed up this morning (17th)
