    Dashcam wiring into Fusebox

I know that the common approach is to tap into the wire in the homelink but is there a way to route the wires into the fusebox/glovebox? I want to use that method for connecting both parking and while driving.

Yes. See my edit in a few mins.

When you remove the A pillar cover, you’ll see some wire retaining clips. I used those to make sure the dashcam wires didn’t get in the way of the airbag. For the ground wire, I used one of the bolts for the pass front airbag mount.

Can also go all the way to underneath the center console and use the eject box wiring (factory option for a phone). Has switched and constant 12V:

This is exactly the approach I'd like to go for.
Did you have to pop off the front of the headliner to route the wire to the A pillar?
Which fuses did you end up piggy backing on?
        thanks

Can’t remember. I may have had to lower the front right just a bit to tuck the wires properly and ensure they don’t pop out. Removing the passenger sun visor should be sufficient.

I’ll have to follow up with you on Thurs for the specific fuses. I’m away from my blue car, which has working parking mode.

Why don't you wire it into the Home Link plug in your headliner? You can buy the pins and connector online and make it 100% reversible by making a harness.
These are the PNs you will need

No constant 12V up there though, so still would need to run that wire.

Ahh, see didn't consider the fact that dashcams run all the time. I just wired a radar detector into mine.
