i am doing a refresh of the rear end in my wagon project. want a smooth daily driver ride (my red sedan has all AKG red 75d poly subframe/diff with AKG monoball rtab and AKG FCABs) on the wagon project im going to be running brand new BMW subframe bushings with Synchro design rtab. I wanted to run brand new BMW diff bushings but can only find the part# for the front forward diff busing in the axle carrier. i cant seem to find the ones in the diff cover other than buying a brand new cover. is that correct? you have to buy a whole new cover just to get new OE diff cover bushings?

e36 ones are softer, so a performance downgrade (probably NHV upgrade).
If you want new stock, the only option is a new cover. Other than the e36 bushings, everything you can press in in place of stock is a huge NHV penalty.

Dubious claim. I had a significant increase in whine, but am fine with it as it's most pronounced at freeway speeds I seldom use, plus I added more sound insulation under rear bench. I'm perfectly happy with the AKG, mind.DD: /// 2011.5 Jerez/bamboo E90 M3 · DCT · Slicktop · Instagram
