    Yep, I should have recorded down to show the HVAC controls as I keep it off usually. Seems to last a long ass time too 😂. The noise stops just before the video ends. I didn't think that was normal...maybe blower assembly on the way out?

      i found this video too from e46 fanatics...sound a lot like the same noise.

      Sorry for the thread, it can be deleted if someone can help me. I have two different noises when the key is in position 2 and idk if these are regular noises or not. Sorry for the bad videos in advance. One is coming from under the car. Sounds like the fuel filter, pressure regulator possibly...





      These guys are saying it's the blower control module: 12907571019 or 12907570074

        I usually start the car and let it idle until the RPM drops to normal which takes about a minute. After that I shift smoothly and I dont go past 3k rpms.

          Lower rpm saves the first gear (or reverse) synchro.
