BBS LM "Tuner" Fitment Help - 19x8.5et18 (Front) and 19x11et25 (Rear)

    Hey guys,

I have a chance to pick up some BBS LMs but these are pretty aggressive in terms of their size.

Currently my car is running this set up:

Apex ARC8 18x9et30 squared with a 12mm spacer up front and a 25mm spacer in the rear. So basically:

    18x9et18 front with a 255/35/18 tire
    18x9et5 rear with a 255/35/18 tire

My fenders are completely rolled/shaved and I am lowered on Bilstein PSS10 coilovers. No rubbing on my current setup

What tire sizes can I run on the BBS LM 19x8.5et18 (Front) and 19x11et25 (Rear) to make it fit and not look like a "stance" car? I tried using willtheyfit.com and it seems like the wheels will poke about 5mm more than my current, but can't figure out the tire size.

Is this just too aggressive of a wheel size to run?

    Thanks for the help!

    Julian

Those wheels must be from a Z3M Coupe with those specs!!

On a 8.5’’ wheels, you can go 235/35/19 and 285/30/19 on the 11’’.

But not the best staggered size IMO. I would go with a 1’’-1.5’’ staggered max.

Is this a pretty aggressive size for the e46 m3?

Front is not that agressive, it’s pretty much the same as a 19x9.5 et30. Rear is agressive.

          You should wait for a set of F - 19' x 8.5 et 32 R - 19' x 10 et 25 to pop up for sale.

These have perfect specs IMO with 19x9 et27 front instead of the usual 19x8.5 et32

Also, mine are 19x8.5 et32 and 19x10 et25 and I have reverse mount and front mount faces, different front and rear. My faces are silver so doesn’t matter but look weird with darker paint.

245/275 is probably what the forum recommends

If the tire runs wide, would go with 235/35 265/30 CSL spec

Oooooo thanks for the link. I just sent him an offer. Do you know of those tire sizes will work with the e46 m3?

They will fit but ideally I prefer a 235/265 or 245/275 on a 9’’/10’’ wheel setup.

Got it. Would the current setup for sale not look good?

Tires would look a bit meaty and higher profile. Those sizes would look better on E9x M3.

On a E46 M3, IMO 25.5’’ total diameter looks better. It came from factory with 26’’ tho.

Looks great! NGL looking at your car on the wheel thread was one of the reasons I wanted the LMs. So you are running the 19x8.5et32 and 19x10et25 with 245/35 and 275/30, correct? Since you have the wheels, may I pick your brain?

what are your thoughts on the wheels I’m about to buy:

                            19x9et27 255/35/19
                            19x10et25 285/30/19

the owner sent me photos of it and it’s a pretty meaty setup. You think it’ll rub?

                            Currently my car has18x9et18 front with a 255/35/18 tire18x9et5 rear with a 255/35/18 tire

here are some photos of the BBS LMs as wheel as my current wheel setup

I'm running 19x8.5+17 fronts with 19x10+25 rears (not reverse mounted). Tires are 245/35/19 and 275/30/19.

I am running -3.8 degrees of camber in front and my fenders are rolled. I do have some slight rubbing, but that's a small price to pay for vanity!
