But I love this car, and having two vehicles has come in really handy in the past. It's a tough choice as I really want to keep this car.

Check out Gunbarrel Import Motors in Niwot, CO. They did a PPI for me once and they were pretty great. I never had them work on my car, but they seemed competent.2002 Topasblau M3 - Coupe - 6MT - Karbonius CSL Airbox - MSS54HP Conversion - Kassel MAP - SSV1 - HJS - PCS Tune - Beisan - MK60 Swap - ZCP Rack - Nogaros - AutoSolutions - 996 Brembos - Slon - CMP - VinceBar - Koni - Eibach - BlueBus - Journal

I'd try and get a quote to ship the car to KS or even George in Austin. It might be cheaper than you think. I used a broker and shipped my broken M3 with a blown engine from Milwaukee to Wichita for $500.
Then just drive it back. If that's the case, its worth the money, time, and effort to get the job done right and thoroughly.
