I wouldn’t have gotten rid of my ET22 wheels had I known that 996 calipers would require a spacer up front lol. Also sucks bc I wanted to run -2.4° up front which isn’t possible with the current offset.

Still on stock suspension with camber pins pulled.
Do you have ARC-8s? If so, how much clearance do you have between the spokes and the calipers?

Yeah ARC-8. With the 5mm spacer, I have 2-3 mm of clearance.

The clearance is an ARC-8 problem right? I bought 18x9.5 ET35 EC-7s and I want to be clear (no pun intended) these wheels should be OK at that offset.

            EC stands for extra clearance.

I took a chance with ebay. They were in much worse shape than advertised. Ended up replacing all seals, hardware, and pistons. Biggest pain was sourcing everything during the peak of covid supply chain issues. Probably easier now.

Bought mine off Mikestatic. I have plans to my use them as a STEM project for me and the kid. Should rebuild used old calipers anyways just for the insurance.

If I can go back, I would prob do the 6 piston calipers in the front just for “show” purposes instead of 4 piston all-around (though I am pleased with 4).
